Kentucky General Assembly Overrides Governor’s Veto, Protects Religious Freedom

Last night, the Kentucky General Assembly voted overwhelmingly to override Gov. Steve Beshear’s veto of the Religious Freedom Bill (HB 279).  The law restores the “compelling interest/least restrictive means” as a legal test the government must pass before restricting religious freedom, bringing Kentucky in line with federal judicial standards. Leading by Example

Throughout the New Testament, leaders are challenged to lead by example. Paul encourages believers to put into practice what they see in his life (Phil 4:9) and exhorts Timothy to “set the believers an example” (1 Tim 4:12).
